Drawing inspiration from its East Hampton location, the store’s design concept borrows from a modern interpretation of the east coast beach house.
Minimal forms are combined with traditional materials and detailing. The beachside aesthetic is reinterpreted through the interior use of wood siding, shutters, and teak decking. In the front of the store, teak and glass doors connect the space with the street. Wood cabinetry runs along both sides of the narrow interior space. A tall addition to the rear of the store features an exposed beam ceiling made from Douglas fir, accentuating the volume in the space.
