Perched on a hillside off Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, the Garcia House was originally designed by John Lautner in 1962. The iconic form floats on two V-shaped supports, capturing panoramic views of Hollywood. An example of Lautner’s powerful geometry, the house has a dramatic, curved roofline and segmented walls of clear and colored glass.

Respecting Lautner’s original design intent, subtle refinements to the design were carried out. These included the addition of a wall of custom casework, plus reconfiguring the master bathroom to include a spa, shower and bathtub.
