Assistant Construction Project Manager

The Assistant Construction Project Manager (Assistant PM) is responsible for supporting all aspects of a project including estimating, bidding, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, budget development, and invoicing. The Assistant PM will be learn to drive efficient and timely completion schedules.

Responsibilities
-Reading and interpreting detailed construction documents and specifications.
-Communicating with architects and clients through sketches, spreadsheets, diagrams, and memos.
-Estimating job costs based on drawings and specifications.
-Bidding out jobs to subcontractors.
-Maintaining project schedules.
-Drafting and managing subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
-Developing and maintaining detailed budgets and schedule of values.

Qualifications
-Desire to develop comfort in interfacing with high-end clients.
-Passion for high-end residential construction project management.
-Passion for architecture and design.
-Strong analytical skills, including ability with Excel.
-Comfort in working independently as problem solver in fast-paced environment.
-Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
-Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft suite including Excel and MS Project.
-Experience with Sage Masterbuilder and Procore is helplful.
-Pending college degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar degree.
