For the existing home of a family with young children, we designed the landscape to create inviting spaces to encourage more time outdoors. A pergola-covered back deck, for outdoor dining and lounging, runs parallel to the house and steps down to a pool area nestled in the landscape. From the street, the home emerges from a natural buffer of native plantings and citrus trees.
