Designed by Albert Frey in 1946, this 1,160-square-foot house saw over the years the addition of living spaces and a small, freestanding studio. Our goal was to clearly distinguish between the original house, subsequent additions, and new construction. To achieve this, we differentiated between new and existing materials, colors, and building systems.
