Hollywood Canyon

Los Angeles, California

The landscape architecture for this home enhances the native canyon landscape while preserving the old-growth oak, sycamore, and beech trees throughout the site. Intentionally loose and a bit wild in keeping with the canyon character, the planting design opens up long views across the property from interior spaces and creates intimate outdoor gathering spaces. Meandering pathways and small handmade stone walls lead to various destinations in the garden with views back to the architecture.
