We are looking for a full-time Construction Estimator to oversee the estimating of construction budgets on high-end residential and light commercial projects. All applicants should be highly motivated, with experience in collaborative work, and have a detail oriented approach in their execution of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly with clients, architects and construction staff
• Read and interpret detailed construction documents and specifications
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Solicit and track multiple bids for each trade
• Prepare subcontractor bid analysis’ and bid books
• Develop and maintain detailed budgets and schedules of value
• Prepare preliminary Microsoft Project construction schedules
• Conducting job walks as needed
• Job requires presence in office and occasional job site visits

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in high end residential construction estimating
• Demonstrable experience working in a team environment and interfacing with clients and architects
• Strong problem solving capabilities and critical thinking skills
• Passion for high-end construction and design
• Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Working understanding of Excel, Sage, Project, and Procore
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar
