Marmol Radziner, an Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interiors and Construction firm based in Los Angeles, is looking for a full-time Construction Site Superintendent/Foreman to add to our team in Santa Cruz, California. Our firm specializes in high-end private residential projects, commercial and community design. All applicants should be highly motivated, with experience in collaborative work, and have a detail oriented approach in their execution of tasks.

The Construction Site Superintendent/ Foreman is responsible for working directly with the Project Manager to oversee the construction activities on site. Responsibilities include scheduling and oversight of field crews, subcontractors, and Project Manager about project costs and construction schedules. The Construction Foreman will also be responsible for supporting the work on site and must possess general carpentry and construction skills.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the residential construction industry
• Passion for high-end construction and design
• Ability to read detailed construction documents and specifications
• Ability to oversee subcontractors and maintain quality control and adherence to the design intent
• Demonstrable experience working in a team environment and interfacing closely with clients and architects
• Working understanding of Excel, Project, and Procore
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate via email and computer
• General carpentry sills
• Ability to operate a skid steer, mini- excavator and reach fork
• Strong organization skills
• Clean DMV record – ability to drive company truck when needed
• Experience running a crew
• Physically able to work along-side subcontractors and field crews
• Must own basic personal tools for general carpentry and construction support work
