Marmol Radziner acted as the executive architect and general contractor for construction of this architectural concrete residence designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Tadao Ando. A gesture of permanence on the ever-changing sands of Malibu Beach, this gallery-for-living showcases the client’s contemporary art collection. Working closely with Mr. Ando, many concrete mock-ups were made to achieve a finish texture that expresses the powerful nature of the material.
