We designed a new 1,200-square-foot residence, pool cabana, and garage/gym to complement an existing main house, workshop, and barn on a 20-acre hillside lot with views of the ocean. The new structures, which incorporate Santa Barbara sandstone veneer, wood roof eaves, and dark anodized metals, are partially submerged into the hillside to follow the natural contours of the site.
