Mandeville Canyon

Mandeville Canyon

Los Angeles, California

Mature oaks and sycamores shade the street and flood control channel that travel down the length of the canyon. In addition to keeping the original sycamores on the site, we planted new sycamores to return the landscape to the riparian zone that would exist naturally at the canyon bottom. The native riparian plantings and chaparral-covered hillside create a drought-tolerant landscape watered by an on-site rainwater collection system.
